SAFFRON PROJECT 4TH GRADE 

COURSE 2013-14

 

We started the saffron project on the 22^nd September 2013 with the 4^th grade classes. There are two pots with twelve bulbs each which have been born. Nowdays the leaves have grown until 10 cm. tall. Class 4-A has collected eight saffron flowers and 4-B four. Class 4-C will collect next week the saffron flowers.

Pupils find the project very interesting and they discover that saffron is a beautiful plant/flower that we can use for cooking, for example PAELLA …… and more. Saffron has a lot of properties like vitamins, minerals and others. We invite you to write about SAFFRON if you have more information.
